University of Maryland, College Park: B.S. General Physical Sciences, with emphasis in Mathematics, Meteorology, and Astronomy. Citation in General Honors, with emphasis on science for public interest/consumer advocacy.

Experience:
1975-1976: Extended summer internship at the National Bureau of Standards (now NIST) in the division for energy conservation and solar energy research.

1976 -1980: Engineer, KTA Corporation. Served as the performance testing engineer for a start-up solar collector company, with emphasis on measuring thermal efficiency and observing behavior during extreme environmental conditions.

1980 - 1986: Worked for several energy conservation consulting companies, specializing in mathematical modeling of energy use in residential and comercial buildings. Certified energy auditor in New Jersey.
